Healthier and Stronger because Plant-Based Diet
My journey to become a soccer player doesn't take a day or two. I need to work hard and must go through a long process with great dedication so that I can continue to improve my skills and maintain my body condition, and continue to develop from day to day.
My journey to becoming a soccer player doesn't take a day or two. I need to work hard and must go through a long process with great dedication so that I can continue to improve my skills and maintain my body condition and continue to develop from day to day.
Regular training is my mandatory menu so that I can be the best on the pitch. I go to the gym almost every day to maintain my condition, especially during the pandemic.
Outside of training, the lifestyle I've followed so far is one of the keys to being consistent. One is the nutritional aspect of the food we consume. My wife and I have led a vegan lifestyle and no longer eat meat or animal products. Chicken, beef and eggs are no longer in my nutrition. Now I eat fruits and vegetables in my daily life.
Many questions: ?What about your proteins? Because, as a player you need a lot of protein to keep supporting muscles that want to do intensive activities.?
My answer: ?I consume wheat, nuts and soy milk to get my proteins every day.
I had to change a lot of habits when I became a vegetable person. I feel healthier and better every day. Of course, this supports my activities as an athlete.
I'm so blessed, that I am in Indonesia. Here I can enjoy all the beauty that life has to offer and with a wide choice of healthy food.
Since I started the vegan lifestyle, I feel stronger in my activities.
My body condition is fit and ready to compete anytime and above all, I want to reduce the risk of injuries.
Hopefully, the lifestyle I have followed so far can support the dreams I will achieve in Indonesia. Together with the club and the Indonesian national team.
